Mozilla accuses Google of slowing down the platform in its business
Youtube has changed its internal structure in the weeks, changes that in the eyes of users are not visible, although it depends on the browser used to access the Google video platform.
This has been denounced by Mozilla engineers who accuse the search engine giant of slowing down the uploading of videos in this browser. The culprit is the incorporation of the Java Script Polymer library.
Polymer works with the API Shadow DOM v0 component standard, only implemented in Chrome. So when incorporating this aspect to Mozilla or Microsoft Edge, "videos take five times more to load," denounces Mozilla technical programmer Chris Peterson through his Twitter account.
Peterson recommends going back to the Youtube version prior to Polymer implementation to solve the differences in loading speed, either in Edge or Mozilla.
