    The Mobile World Congress (MWC) will be held in Barcelona next year, as confirmed by the organization (GSMA) on Thursday, despite the fact that the political climate in Catalonia and the demonstrations during the days of this year's fair foreshadowed the worst. Thus, the world's largest mobile technology event will return from 25 to 28 February 2019 at the Gran Via de L'Hospitalet fairgrounds.

Despite this announcement, the organization has reported that in this edition has reduced the number of visitors in a thousand people, from 108,000 in 2017 to 107,000 this year. Of course, more than 55% of the attendees have been senior executives, including more than 7,700 CEOs of international companies, a figure higher than last year (6,100).
