   Eight out of ten young people under 25 years of age watch videos through their smartphone, while 93% access the internet through their mobile device, according to the latest Google Consumer Barometer Report. Access to the first smartphone every time is earlier and experts alert parents of the risk that this technology may entail. Thus, for example, it has become one of the favorite gifts for children in communions or birthdays from the age of eight.

   Escudo Web Software, a Spanish technology company, has created a smartphone with the aim of becoming the great ally of parents in the technological education of their children. Presented at the Mobile World Congress, phoneKid, as the device is called, allows parents to remotely lock the screen when they need to capture the attention of children. "A very common example for many parents is the time to go to bed, when children are busy with their phone, and ignore the instructions of their parents.With phoneKid parents can block the screen and so there are no arguments neither strips nor loosen with the terminal ", explains the company in an official notice.

In addition, the device has a geolocation and emergency system. "Children have an SOS button that they can activate if they find themselves in a dangerous or insecure situation, so when they click on it, their parents receive a notice with their location in their email," they say.

PhoneKid allows the configuration of an internet filter and check the browsing history of the phone. Even, says the company, "it is possible to limit incoming and outgoing calls or have a private family chat to communicate without having to use extra applications from third parties."
